Adjustable Clamp Co 7437 Review: Jorgensen 7437 Work Protecting Bar Clamp Pads. I purchased several sets of these clamp pads about a year ago. Unfortunately, I've found that these pads leave oily round marks on the wood being clamped. The oily residue is soaked into the wood and very difficult to remove through sanding. After leaving something clamped overnight, the oily marks spread like an infection in a circle around the clamp pad.
