Chroma P52 Review: Chroma Type 301 5-Piece Knife Block Set. I bought this set last Christmas on eBay for a lot, lot less. All the knives and the block are made in China. I was leery at first, but to my surprise the knives have held their edge after much abuse. Razor sharp! The handle is well balanced and comfortable to hold. I don't know the exact detail of this alloy (301 steel, and 18/10 stainless) versus other brands. Under careful inspection, you can faintly see where the handle is fused to the blade.
